Take in the sweeping ocean views from one of the three terraces, relax in the rooftop plunge pool, or take an exhilarating trip in the Villa’s own high speed cruiser 10 km out into the Atlantic Ocean where an ultra white soft sand island gently rises from dazzlingly clear turquoise water. The snorkelling at Paradise Island is simply amazing, and readily accessible, even to inexperienced swimmers.

Visit “Laguna Estero Hondo”, a mangrove lined secluded lagoon, where you might spot a Manatee, or exotic birds like Egrets and Roseate Spoonbills. Walk along Ensenada Beach, rated as one of the country’s top beaches, and only a couple of miles from the Villa.

In addition to the Villa’s cabin cruiser, guests can use the outboard powered dinghy to explore the lush green mangroves of the nearby national park with their unique array of flora and fauna.

The kids will enjoy being towed on the inflatable “Hot-Dog” and kids and adults alike will enjoy the sea kayaks.

History buffs might like to visit La Isabela, founded by Christopher Columbus during his second voyage in 1493, the first European settlement in the New World.

Punta Rucia is located less than two hours by road from two of the country’s major international airports - Santiago (STI) and Puerto Plata (POP). The capital, Santo Domingo (SDQ), is about a 4 hour drive.

The most cost effective way to get to Villa Nadine is by rental car. Most international car rental companies are represented at the airports, with very competitive rates. The drive to Villa Nadine is easy, incredibly interesting and scenic, over good roads, and suitable for any vehicle. Having a rental car is also very convenient for visiting the area’s many attractions. If you prefer, transportation can be arranged from the airport, directly to the Villa

Punta Rusia (Rucia) is a completely unspoiled typical fishermen’s village directly adjacent to one of the Caribbean’s least exploited underwater national parks (Parque Nacional Monte Cristi), a coral reef approximately 50km long on the spectacular northern coast of the Dominican Republic. It is about as far away from the all inclusive crowded Mega-Resort vacation spots that you can get...which is the way we like it! Punta Rucia was given its name by Christopher Columbus when he visited the island of Hispaniola on his second voyage to the New World. You will understand his attraction to the location after experiencing one of the area’s amazing sunsets.
